I start with the useful question of "what are emotions" .. because how are you going to try to respond to overwhelming emotions if you don't even understand what they are? I provide some context, skills and research (and references are below).
In part two I'll go into more detail about the nature of BPD and strategies to help individuals as wells therapists.
