CBDC Could End Gold & Silver As Monetary Metals & Money, Risks Of Owning Gold

One day, the reign of gold will end. I never thought of it, but a CBDC could make gold and silver obsolete. Both have been around too long as money. We have better money today. We don't want a gold or silver backed currency, because we can't trust the rulers to keep their promise. 'Gold Backed Paper' actually means 'Paper Backed Gold', when they put a gun to your head and take the gold from you. They get the hard money and you get the easy money. Not a good deal for you, the gold hoarder. Then the CBDC comes along and they don't need gold or silver, as money and you're screwed, if you own gold. What will they pay you for it? $20.67 per pound or per ton? It's up to them, because you have no choice! Trusting bankers is a fatal mistake! They have never kept their promise to back paper with gold. Immediately after making the promise they began counterfeiting the paper. People noticed, demanded gold and what happened? A gun to the head and a forced swap back into paper! Fair? Honest? Constitutional? They knew they had counterfeited the paper and there was $35 worth for every $20.67 worth of gold, so they paid the people the cheaper price and then raised the price to $35 per troy ounce. Is this what government does? If so, then 'That government is best, which governs least' How about none!
