Deschutes Obsidian Stout 3.25/5

Another in the Porter/Stout series from Deschutes. A solid brewery out of Ben Oregon with a lot of dead on hits, this isn't one of them for me. It's their version of the over roasted malt coffee beer. Running 6.4 ABV 55 IBUs and the SRM is up in the inky 200 range as should be expected. This is actually a good beer if you enjoy the espresso flavor but I found it to be overly bitter and having a burnt taste. Come Si Come Sa to each their own.
