ELVIS SINGS GUITAR MAN [UNRELEASED 1968 ALBUM]
*** Recorded May 26, 1966 - September 12, 1967 ***
"Elvis Sings Guitar Man" would be a 1968 compilation album by Elvis Presley at RCA, if released.
The album was released worldwide on Follow That Dream, catalog number 506020 975021 2, in April 2011.
Starting in May 1966, Elvis recorded 14 standalone Masters from there until September 1967.
They were used as singles and extras on soundtrack LPs before RCA realized that they could very well compose a vibrant compilation album.
But after wasting the potential of such recordings, the recording company decided to leave the project aside in 1968, even after having already worked on a tracklist and a cover.
In 2011 FTD brought the original album to the public for the first time as planned by RCA.
Here we bring you the full 1968 unreleased album, plus a few bonuses. We hope you like it. Enjoy!
