After experiencing a concussion at a private dinner in early March, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) has been absent from the Capitol for over five weeks.

However, he announced on Thursday via Twitter that he will be returning to the Capitol on Monday, coinciding with the Senate’s return from the two-week April recess, the Hill reported.

“I am looking forward to returning to the Senate on Monday. We’ve got important business to tackle and big fights to win for Kentuckians and the American people,” he tweeted.
