Short emulator test: Spooky Story (2008, DS)

A test how recorded DS games look in the player. If the screens are too small let me know in the comment. The cursor is from my OS, I recorded it so that you can see which objects I use. I still need to check out if the sound can be fixed.

Spooky Story is a point-and-click adventure game by German company Visual Imagination Software, aka VIS Games. It was published under the Xider label of German publisher bhv. The game combines drawn backgrounds with pre-rendered graphics for the characters. The interface is similar to the interface of Full Throttle and Curse of Monkey Island. If you hold down your pen, a disk with three commands will appear from which you can choose. The character can be moved by holding down the pen and move in a direction, or by tipping on a spot where he should move. To walk through doors, you needs to use the "direct control".
The story of the game is not very complex. You play a student driving around with his car in the countryside. He hits a tree and needs to call the repair service. Unfortunately, I has no cell phone with him and the only building in the area is a creepy castle. He goes there and asks for help, and the butler of the castle invites him to stay over for the night. But once in his room, the door is nailed shut form the outside. So you need to find a way to first escape your room and then to leave this place altogether.
