This is a clip from the 1946-47 recording of Operation Highjump. Admiral Richard E. Byrd's expedition into Antarctica conducted shortly after the end of WW2. It's primary purpose was to reach the Nazi base within the German "New Swabia" area. Of course, since the US Government cannot tell anything without lying, we have no information on what he found there. However, he did discover a 300 mile area of temperate land with warm (geothermal) lakes, grass, trees and animals. Why have we heard nothing else about this area? Why are researchers forced to stay in frozen camps when this place is available? All are good questions. Questions that should be asked until we get answers.
