Good morning, I’m still reporting on the coup.
The United States has just lived through a remarkably evil period of time. Without belaboring the point, let’s just say it began with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, 56 years ago.
Since then, reporters who did not toe the party line quickly learned that they would not advance in their chosen profession.
It wasn’t until the advent of personal computers and then the internet that freedom’s voice could once again be heard across the fruited plains – if you looked for it carefully.
Today, that faint voice of citizen reporters has become a roar that helped put President Trump into office to begin the monumental task of cleaning some of this up.
Trump went right to the task – illegal immigration, globalism, and Chinese communism. But what he has not successfully made a dent in – yet – has been the self-serving, entrenched federal bureaucracy that perpetuates the evil.
But the progress Trump has made has thrown much-needed light on the bad guys like nothing previously in American history. Within just a few months, the machinations of the minions of Satan – the MOS - have been shown to have even infected our modern-day medical bureaucracy.
I’m talking about the shameful response of those sitting at the pinnacle of American medicine to the most overblown public health matter in world history – the COVID-19 flu.
Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet, the Past Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons blasted American Medicine’s recent bashing of hydroxychloroquine – by far THE safest and most effective treatment currently available for the COVID-19 virus.
“Front-line physicians treating patients with … COVID-19 are seeing an alarming, escalating, orchestrated attack on chloroquine (CQ) and its safer derivative, hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). Both medicines have been safely used in millions of patients worldwide for malaria prevention and treatment since [the] FDA approved [them] in 1934 and 1955, respectively.”
Dr. Lee Vliet noted that HCQ has been used for treating lupus and rheumatoid arthritis for decades at much higher doses and for much longer periods of time – that is decades.
“Why the firestorm against HCQ to be used for 5-7 days in COVID-19, when it is used for decades at higher doses in Lupus and RA? It simply makes no medical sense.”
“Patients in Third-World countries, where these inexpensive, long-established remedies are used early, when HCQ is most likely to be effective, are dying in far lower numbers than patients in the U.S., where politicians and entrenched bureaucrats interfere with physicians’ medical decisions.”
“India, Brazil, Israel, Costa Rica, South Korea and other countries are also using HCQ as prophylactic therapy to help keep doctors and nurses from becoming ill caring for COVID19 patients. Governors in 46 of 50 states prevent US doctors and nurses from access to this option for their protection, ignoring success in multiple other countries.”
“Why don’t [the] FDA, CDC, WHO, Dr. Fauci, the American Medical Association, and most media tell you about this?”
“Politicians and FDA bureaucrats are causing serious damage over-ruling long-standing FDA regulations that allow doctors to legally prescribe any approved medicine for a new use.”
“Dr. Fauci, who has been directing the U.S. pandemic response, has failed to report any of the many positive basic science and successful clinical outcomes results from the U.S. and more than a dozen other countries. Why?”
“Dr. Fauci’s focus has been that we need to wait for a vaccine to safely re-open the country. Why? He knows vaccines take months to years to develop. Surely he is also aware of the safety issues of vaccines rushed to market without adequate testing.”
“Political brinkmanship and hidden agendas – political or financial or both – are a dangerous and deadly game. HCQ is not a panacea, but it is saving lives around the world.”
“Doctors, nurses, patients and civil rights attorneys must fight back with every tool at our disposal. We need to take legal action against agencies and governors working against the public interest.”
“We do not have time to waste. People are dying. Our economy is dying.”
So what is Dr. Fauci’s alternative therapy? The new drug, remdesivir. It’s maker, Gilead Pharma, has donated the first 1.5 million doses, however, thereafter the latest projections are that remdesivir would cost about $4,460 per 10-day course of medication. The cost to manufacture remdesivir, according to the Journal of Virus Eradication is about $10.
The recommended course of Hydroxychloroquine is 5 days at a cost of about $15.
How about effectiveness. The first and only study out on remdesivir shows it to be effective between 50 and 62% of the time out of 320 patients studied.
Hydroxychloroquine has been shown to be over 90% effective in well over 1,000 patients treated, with the exception of one deeply flawed recent study done at a Veterens Administratio
