I tried to keep the song simple and use the flirty, sqwauky, un-worldly desi way of singing from these Meerasi people who are excellent musicians and close to history of the music, dance and culture from 500 years ago. 'CHUBTI HAI' was surprisingly difficult and taxing to sing. The declamatory style, long decorated vocals, awkward melodic shapes, jumps from high to low and a need to try to vary the tone on the repeats.
