I continue my discussion of reason and rationality from Episode 2, by first pointing out that many of the same principles of observation and testimony apply to 'inner' experience as well as experience of outer objects. For instance, mathematicians testify to things they perceive inwardly by introspection, and yet these truths they report are as solidly true as outer facts, if not more so. The same applies to the testimony of prophets who meditate such as Jesus, Mohammed, and Meher Baba, and it is based on such testimony of truth perceived inwardly upon reflection that we base our faith in God.
