GameSpot Editor ATTACKS "White Incel Gamer Dudes". GameSpot Editor Jessica Cogswell's recent social media comments have sparked controversy within the gaming community. In a tweet from March, she referred to gamers as "incel gamer dudes," criticizing their expectations regarding character representation in games.

Cogswell's tweet read, "Man, idk how all these incel gamer dudes are expecting games to have hot characters and characters representative of them at the same time. Lmao at these replies. Get a life, weirdos."

This isn't the first time Cogswell has stirred up controversy. In March 2023, she announced her decision to stop using the term "JRPG," stating that it should be abolished because it categorizes games based on the race of their creators rather than their content. She also urged white individuals to refrain from commenting on the matter, emphasizing the importance of listening to marginalized voices.

Additionally, in September 2022, Cogswell criticized certain feminist groups for prioritizing the mourning of "problematic white women" over supporting women of color and trans women facing violence and discrimination.
