Religion is Play for Adults? My Recent "Religious Experience"
My most personal video yet. This reveals an integrating and inspiring experience I had, using that story as a way to discuss the meaning and purpose many people yearn for today. I overlay Jordan Peterson's idea of child's play onto M. Scott Peck's four stages of spiritual development to arrive at a notion that may prompt you to see mankind's use of religion in a new light.
Also discussed is Austrian writer Rudolf Steiner's conception of good and evil, which departs from the common image of the "devil on one shoulder and angel on the other." Steiner's representation of good and evil aligns well with what I write in my Foundational Articles.
The backdrop of this is the sickness and devastation we see in the modern West. Therefore, questions about what this means for European Christianity and European paganism are never far behind...
