A bungled Roundup by Contract Cowboys ended abruptly when many hundreds of Americans came from across the country to contest perceived "Government Overreach" and roped off "First Amendment Areas".
Earlier that week a decades old dispute culminated in a fierce face off between members of the Virgin River Valley Community and Militarized Agents from the Bureau of Land Management.
Reportedly tensions escalated over the years under the (False) Front of Conservation. Most notably was that of protecting the Endangered Desert Tortoise. Ironically the dawdling little creature has little worry and indeed thrives along side the Bovine. As Bureaucratic Policy continued to reduce the allowable number of cattle, or animal units per acre, on the range even as Grazing Fees were raised further leaving scarce margins to operate.
Cliven Bundy's fellow cattlemen in Southern Nevada had already been 'managed' out of business by these bureaucratic agenda driven policies, leaving Cliven the Last Rancher Standing, to fight for the centuries old practice of TRUE natural conservation.
