Just mixing aqueous silver nitrate and aqueous sodium nitrite. Silver nitrite is not that soluble in water so when a silver ion touches a nitrite ion they bind together and precip out of solution. Then filter and wash. Then dry in a dessicator. Also sodium nitrate is made.... so if it is hard for a person to get that you might want to crystallize out the sodium nitrate that is made and left in solution
