We are proud to present a six year old interview with our beloved founder Lisa Clapier* aka Dalai Mama Sophia.
Dalai Mama was an original organizer of Occupy in the Fall of 2011, creating critical massive success with her live broadcasting skills and peacekeeping abilities. Occupy Los Angeles was the first occupation in the history of the United States of America to successfully stand in solidarity with the City of Los Angeles' governance in passing a Resolution 'Ending Corporate Personhood.' After Occupy, she co-founded Unify.org in 2012 and led a global live broadcast at December 21, 2012 resulting in over 100million viewers for moments of peace, meditation and silence.
'After Occupy, we knew what was wrong with the world, so I wanted to co-create something we could all agree on, what was that zero point? Silence! Everyone, no matter their origin, believes in either silence, prayer, and/or meditation. So, with this great aim in mind, we created Unify and now it organizes global synchronized moments of prayer, meditation and silence for good! I have contributed some of our broadcast analytics to Princeton Universities Noosphere Project, and the statistics from those scientific based measurements prove silence, prayer, and meditation make a positive impact in the world. The Noosphere is an intelligence, collective consciousness, we can literally effectively co-create peace. When I began witnessing the backend analytics from the Occupy broadcast feed, again the clips most viewed were the examples of solutions, art, beauty, and kindness. So, armed with this data, science and math, I did architect a new platform to curating evolutionary best practices and solutions, in harmony with nature, facilitating a global transition, for good!'
