However, their theoretical and experimental use in SARS-CoV-2 recombinant vaccine studies, Respiratory Syncytial Virus tests, miniaturized in-vivo official health records and other biomedical applications in the form of graphene-based hydrogels has generated a great deal of scientific and possible commercial interest in recent years, with a de-emphasis on potential for toxicity.
