Imagine a circle all around you, that you can see. And that circle represents perhaps how “good” you feel. Something like long-lasting fulfillment, or inner peace, or some might call it how “zen” you feel. Nothing to do with short term dopamine rush…

Imagine a circle all around you, that you can see. And that circle represents perhaps how “good” you feel. Something like long-lasting fulfillment, or inner peace, or some might call it how “zen” you feel. Nothing to do with short term dopamine rush. Someone with a small circle, well they’re suffering quite a lot, and someone with a big circle, well everything is just feels truly great for them. So it’s natural that we want our circles to be bigger. And then what we do is we come across these other people, and they’ve got these big circles. We can just sense that they things just flow for them, and they’re confident, and they’re charismatic and their energy feels great… And so naturally we try to emulate what they’re doing in a way...
