Today we’re speaking with Ricky Roberts, an interesting and complex man who’s experienced many major changes and difficult hurdles in his life. Up until 2016, Ricky was gay... Just kidding. He was a democrat; he’s still very much gay. But in today’s political arena, it seems like the two are one and the same. However, Ricky broke the mold, become one of the original members of the #WalkAway campaign; a group encouraging people on the Left to walk away from the divisive tenets endorsed and mandated by today’s Democratic Party.

Today, he’s an NYC transplant living in North Carolina working with Act for America and working on organizing a “Gays for Trump” meetup in Washington DC in the spring.
