URGENT! EU ARTICLE 13 INTERNET COPYRIGHT CENSORSHIP - 21st June Vote - Censorship Update #3

Article 13 - European Union MEPs vote on dangerous legislation to change copyright and censorship Online. Artificial Intelligence machines will scan Internet upload content before it is published for images, soundtracks and video. Anything the machines sense is copyright will be prevented from being uploaded. The machines will have a high price and if required will only be in the reach of large platforms. News links will be taxed so any use of news on feeds or platforms will have to pay a charge to the news copyright holder. Article 13 has been drafted by non-specialists who represent the media companies. It contradicts a lot of Freedom of Speech Law. Article 13 is written in vague language so that it can be misinterpreted and used as censorship. The aim may be to hand the Internet back to the media giants and they turn it back into a passive experience of television that will not be the interactive Internet we are used to. The A.I. will not be able to distinguish between copyright theft, parody, or satire. Media platforms like YouTube and Bitchute will be held responsible for copyright material, so will have to control copyrighted material carefully to avoid being sued. The European Union is the centre of this legislation but it has already been trialled in Spain causing Google to close down its news platforms in Spain due to costs and copyright issues of new EU Law. The USA will likely be censored in the EU framework of Artificial Intelligence clamp down.
