Symphony No. 24 in B flat major, K. 182/173da by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Mozart completed this symphony in 1773. Evidence suggests Mozart had begun this symphony in 1772 while on a visit to Vienna with his father, but the work would be completed after returning to Salzburg the following year. The visit to Vienna was one of two ventures Mozart and his father Leopold took in 1773 to seek employment at the court in Vienna, firstly to secure a higher salary but also to free Mozart from the restrictive environment at Salzburg under Prince-Archbishop Hieronymus Colloredo.

This symphony is comprised of three movements:
I. Allegro spiritoso 00:00
II. Andantino grazioso 04:05
III. Allegro 06:57

LESS
