Some grateful dwarves offer Travis Morgan, The Warlord, a magical sword, dubbed Hellfire, as a reward for ending the torment of the hawkmen (last issue). The magical enchantment of the sword takes him back in time to the age of the sorcerer kings. There he is reunited with Machiste and Mariah and the trio, along with Mongo Ironhand, must face off with Wralf the wizard! Will Travis be trapped in Skartaris' magical past or can he return to his beloved Tara in Shamballah?
