After an artist-in-residency period during the first days of 'NDSM Treehouse' (an initiative of Theaterplatform 'PickUp-Club' in Amsterdam), I gave my first concert with my brand-new instrument which I called the 'Rauschmaschine', (Soundquaker) which was based on Frequency Modulation, vibration and resonance, without the use of additional effects and was made of a former archive-cupboard. For this event I invited colleague-noise-artists and organised my first 'Rammelfest' around it, in the edition 2.1, the first European Noise-Conference. Later 4 more editions were to follow.

After this concert, visitors told me that they went on an awesome mental trip during the concert, without the use of any drugs. Maybe that's the best compliment one can get.
