Once the squall/derecho moved off the Florida coastline Saturday; power crews were out overnight restoring power. Snapped poles were seen throughout the region in Laguna Beach. Metal pieces were wrapped around trees and fire hydrants as well. A travel trailer was on it's side at a campground on Front Beach Rd as well from the gusty winds. The Blu Convenience Store lost its roof and the back/side walls came down. The roof itself ended up being lofted into a residential area; landing on a house and crushing a vehicle and doing major damage at the residence. Multiple signs across the Panama City Beach region were blown out. Patio furniture was lofted as well. Railings on condominiums were dangling from balconies from where a waterspout came on shore. Several businesses had some sort of damage from either the wind event or the waterspout. Foghorns also had some minor damage to their awning out front.
