ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED? CAN AN INCANTATION SAVE YOU?
Speculating as to whether or not a person can be once saved, always saved. Did Jesus die on the cross to make it possible for anyone to serve Satan but still go to heaven? Christian content.
Further scriptural evdence that I found since making this video.
Romans 11:20-23 New King James Version (NKJV)
20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, [a]goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
2 Peter 2:20-22
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome*, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Matthew 5:20
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 7:22
19Every [EVERY] tree that bringeth not forth good fruit [good works] is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits [good works] ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, [who calls Jesus Lord, Lord? The world doesn't call Him Lord. Christians call Him their Lord] shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth [good works] the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [who does these things? Christians and very prominent wonder working Christians who said the sinner's prayer which lip service you believe gives them a 'get out of Hades free' card] 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [You could say they lacked 'good works']. 24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth [good works] them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
James 2: 14-26 New King James Version (NKJV)
Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
