As we head into "Episode 9" of Star Wars, and the third in Disneys first Star Wars Trilogy, we are all hearing a lot of speculation concerning potential plot points, test screenings, Box Office takings and just how they are going to wind up their trilogy.
If the organisation had a different set of priorities and Hollywood wasn't going through a phase of creative bankruptcy then perhaps the situation would be more positive.
In this video I put some thoughts together as to what is at the core of Episode 7 and Episode 8 being jarring to many people.
I also put forward what I think would have been a better scenario in terms of the political framing in which the Sequel Triology should have occurred for the sake of having a positive creative discussion
