We are very close to Crypto based debit cards that don't run on the VISA network. The sooner the better. Breaking free of the bankers is what we are doing. Banks adding crypto to anything is like plugging a rocket engine into a horse and carriage. Seems like a good idea but it's days are numbered.

Plutus is a card that is available in Europe and should arrive here in due course. It is a non custodial crypto debit card running on Ethereum smart contracts. You always retain ownership of your crypto. No third party risks like depositing crypto to a banker run, centralized payment service. VISA will fall away over a time as it become irrelevant.
