RETURNING TERRORISTS (SWEDEN). Reporter: How many people are we talking about returning?
-The figure mentioned here is about 150 adults.
41 municipalities have we invited.
There were municipalities where these people, travelers so to speak, was written when they left (Sweden).
And for us it was important to try to give a picture of the situation and explain.
The municipalities' preparedness in terms of taking care of
families who have been through various traumas and victims of war
And different things.
It's working good.
Reporter: Its not even certain that everyone gets contact with the authorities
- No absolutely not. No!
Reporter: Because there is nothing mandatory. Säpo contacts, maybe there will be social services
but it is not at all for certain?
- No! It is absolutely not for certain.
And some will definitely go under the radar
And that is life!
But but ...
Reporter: If there would be 150 people. Do you think that there are a number of them, that wants to leave this?
And get help to do it?
- Yes I think so absolutely!
Reporter: Is there support then?
- Yes that's what we try to work on now
Both from an authority perspective, but also there are others in civil society.
But one must not forget
One must be very clear that they can actually be suspected
to very serious crimes, too.
And it's something that one should be clear with.
That it is not just to travel and come back again.
***************** 2nd video
Reporter: Now people are talking about the returners, members of the Islamic State.
Would you say that Sweden handles this poorly with those who want to come back?
- Sweden has handled this very bad from start to finish.
It's completely insane in the current situation to
think about the idea that they should come to Sweden again.
The Iraqi prime minister has offered France
to take care of the French Daesh members.
And I think that the Swedish government should
talk to the Iraqi President and ask him to take care of them.
What can they be 60-80 in total
And take care of them and bring them to justice down there.
Reporter: What do you think would happen if Iraq could decide?
- Well then, you have on-site
They know what Daesh did.
They know what Daesh stands for.
They know where it happened, they know about
which group and in which the command was as
these things happened.
They have more knowledge
Who did what and when.
For those crimes they have committed they'll get the punishment they deserve.
Reporter: How do you think the Swedish media has handled the Islamic State?
-When I was down there between 2015-2017.
I do not know what was reported here at home.
But what I read today. I'm getting very anxious because
they do not understand the seriousness.
Rumors are spread that they would be able to handle this.
But we can see. We have gangs
Gang war here in Sweden. And we are far far away
We can not handle it
The government can not handle it
The police can not handle it
and we get full blooded psychopaths here
And to think that you could handle it. It's not possible.
Reporter:What would be the greatest danger taking them here?
- They will eat up.
They will receive welfare and earn their money.
It is less than 2% of those working, the rest receive welfare
It is the swedish taxpayers that will pay for the new Caliphate that will come up
Then they will probably thank a lot for the help
and carry out terrorist acts here in the Nordic countries
I am absolutely convinced of that.
