Virtuoso (1994, PC)

Virtuoso is a third-person shooter by Motivetime Ltd and released by Elite Systems. The game came also out for the 3DO. The game's protagonist a rock star who flees into virtual reality scenarios from being forced to hide in his hotel room from savage fans. The game features three scenarios you venture in: Mars, a Haunted House and an underwater world. The premise is simple: find the key to unlock the exit, then go to exit, and shoot everything that moves on your way.

You are armed with two heavy pistols, but when you fire, you cannot move, only turn around. There are ball-lie containers you can destroy to obtain items. Items include extra lives, health, a map, bombs or weapon power-ups.
