I do not advise anyone stopping paying for your home/car while attempting to write off the debt, continue payments until the debt has been discharged. there are many ways to do this, the silver dollar is just one of those ways, it works for some who know how to go back and forth with the companies, but not for all. Check out Brad Tiptons work if you wish to learn more about discharging debt. (i have not tried his method fyi)
