Are we really saved only by confessing Jesus is Lord? Is there more required of us than only believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths? Even the demons believed and shivered in fear. Demons Jesus cast out knew who he was. There was no doubt, but were they saved? We make a covenant with our mouths in agreement with the LORD God and we begin the Christian walk of meeting with the Father daily in the Holy of Holies, to learn what would please Him that day and going and doing that. This is a saving relationship. If we cannot hear the Father's voice, then we need to beg Him for His Holy Spirit, because we do not have Him. We look at passages that tell us about the Holy Spirit's role in communicating the Voice of God to us.
While the KJV is OK, we find it is deficient in representing honestly the Greek. It appears the translators were trying to hide from the reader the specific Greek words that tell us how to do what we must do. So we are correcting this. It was obviously to reinforce the reformation doctrine of the Reductionist gospel.
