The overall aesthetics were inspired by Warhammer 40k works of Eliphas the Inheritor ("Behemoth"), Karl The Deranged ("Eversor Assassin"), Bruva Alphabusa ("If the Emperor had a Text-to-Speech Device") as well as "Staying Positive in the Apocalypse" series by Drue Langlois.
Sounds from Fallout, Stalker, Killing Floor, Half-Life, Collapse, Heroes of Might and Magic (III are the best but IV are also nice), Sacred, The Battle for Wesnoth, Arx Fatalis, Age of Chivalry, Arktwend, Myar Aranath, Nehrim, Enderal, Dark Souls and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare etc. etd.
Important. The majority of art used in this animation comes from a game called the Battle for Wesnoth. It is a great game which I can not recommend enough. It is also on Steam now.
