Recorded July 27, 2018, "Acquiescence" is a tune that captures the feeling of adapting to one's environment (according to Atheists), surrendering one's will to God (according to Monotheists), Wu Wei or 'Going with the Flow' (according to Taoists or Hippies and Mystics, respectively, alike), or Amor Fati (according to Stoics and other mystical philosophers). Here presented in an Ambient, Ethereal, Electronica atmosphere with a touch of blue notes, 'Acquiescence' combines Gamelan, orchestral percussion, and novel electronica in a swirling, ever-evolving sound with ethereal textures and modernist linear theme phrasing.
