Let's grab onto the recent effort to lower the voting age to demonstrate the fact of early maturity, and use that as a case for lowering the sexual age of consent. The sex age is 16 in most states.

If the voting age is presently 18 and they lower it to 16, they can and should lower the sex age of consent to 14. That's still way higher than it should be but it's a step the right way.
