Wanted: A racist lurking within the Bridgeport Police Department.
A memo found in the office of the Connecticut department calls for "white power" and says that black cops "belong in the toilet."
The screed was printed on the police department's letterhead and placed into the mailboxes of several officers, as well as an internal mailbox that is accessible only to cops, WNBC reported.
The racist, handwritten rant also singled out Clive Higgins, an officer who was recently acquitted for a 2011 police brutality case in which cops beat a suspect and shot him with a stun gun -- all while on camera. Two other officers were convicted.
"The Chief promise us the White People, he doesn't belong here," the grammatically challenged writer said.
"You better watch your back... We know where you live. Your face was all over the newspaper. Remember you have no duty weapon to defend yourself."
"He's not getting his gun or his badge back. He didn't even support his fellow Officers in Court," the letter continues. "Where were you Higgins ?? You better watch your back.. We know where you live."

Dozens of copies of a threatening and racially charged letter were circulated within a Connecticut police department with a long history of racial tensions, black officers said.
“This is not the first race-based letter that has circulated recently throughout the Bridgeport Police Department, but this is the most severe and damaging letter,” Blackwell, an African American department veteran, told The Washington Post in an interview. “We’re very concerned for our safety and our well-being as black police officers.”

A black former officer, who claimed to be a target of the letter, was arrested Wednesday and the head of the police training academy and president of a minority police organization was placed on paid leave.
Clive Higgins, who was cleared by a federal jury earlier this year of police brutality charges despite a video showing him stomping a prone suspect in Beardsley Park in 2011, surrendered at State Police Troop I in Bethany on Wednesday morning. He was charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor, and released on a promise to appear in court pending arraignment in state Superior Court on Dec. 16.
Lt. Lonnie Blackwell, president of the Bridgeport Guardians, was relieved of his command of the training academy and placed on administrative leave with pay by Police Chief Joseph Gaudett pending possible firing
Higgins, 50, told both the city Office of Internal Affairs and the State Police that Blackwell told him to write the letter.
