Let's Play Borderlands 2 - Part 24 - Varkid Mutation and a Bandit's Revenge

We wake him up by setting three Varkids on fire. It turns out to be Mordecai and his pet bird Bloodwing from the first game. From this point on, he fires down upon any enemies in the area and his shots do slag damage. This can come in handy when you're doing side missions. Speaking of, let's mutate some Varkids. The mutated Varkids that hatch from their pupa stage after being injected with Sir Hammerlock's serum are too hideous for this world so they must be destroyed. Easier said than done because they can be tough. Just destroy five of them and collect their remains for Hammerlock's research. Afterwards, we find a Tundra Patrolman and kill him. He leaves behind an ECHO recording saying he has a reward for us, a stash of guns near a garage. It turns out to be a trap. The man wants revenge and a chest full of TNT and a group of bandit buddies of his is going to fulfill his dying wish. We survive and the patrolman has died in vain.
