Erdoğan calls for Turkish Lebensraum

"Turkey is bigger than the current Turkey. You should know that. So we cannot be trapped in 780,000 square kilometers because our physical borders and the borders of our heart are different. In Hasaka, Homs, Alleppo, Misrata, Skopje and Crimea — they may all be outside our actual borders but they are in our emotional borders, and in our hearts.

"We will confront those who try to limit the history of Turkey and our nation by 90 years. We will take all measures and review textbooks, starting from primary education. We must take all measures to combine our nation with its culture, civilisation and history (Ottoman)"

Previously, Erdoğan called for Turks to displace Europeans through their birth-rates.

In 2017, Dutch officials stopped the Turkish foreign minister from landing in the Netherlands for a pro-Erdogan rally, and then escorted the Turkish family minister out of the country, citing risks to public order and security.

Calling Turks the “future of Europe,” Erdogan implored them to have multiple children as an act of revenge against the West’s “injustices.”

“Make not three, but five children. Because you are the future of Europe. That will be the best response to the injustices against you.”
