Theoretical, Segmented Immortality

Is it possible to live forever? Is it possible that we are living forever? That we're actually in the process of a form of eternal life?

Maybe it's possible that our Universe has been going through a series of coming into existence and dissipating into nothingness, and we've lived our lives many times over.

Obviously, this is pure speculation and I don't claim that these ideas are any representation of what may actually be true.
