When it was all said and done and deregulation came to town they could quadruped the amount of common carriers I work for real s*** heads but turns out the original player didn't give a f*** about us either if memory serves I remember one of the guys running three axles and doubles over Donner summit five nights a week that is 8 chains not six to sling anyways I believe they paid him $10 an hour to pull triples down to Las Vegas it would not even get him a cheap motel room he had to sleep in the truck in that heat I might be wrong about this this was about 1981 1982 but George Carlin was completely right they do not give a f*** about us
