It's not explosive but it is disruptive.
I do not need an exchange any more or pay fees for making the offer.
I do not need to trust my stash to third party wallets in order to make exchange transactions either.
I do not need to remember too many login details and keep them safe.
I do not need two factor authentication or give my number away to strangers.
If I want to I can keep all my stash in one secure wallet stored on my own device.
If I want to I can trade directly with others, yes directly, peer2peer, wallet to wallet, with no inbetweenies adding a tax.

In 2014 I was informed of intentions to create such a beast and although the idea was great, as well as the technical mechanisms seemed sound, I still had my doubt's.

No doubt about it now, I use it daily, 24/7.
This really is the Crypto Nerds wallet.
I can exchange all my coins for other coins all at the same time if I want.
I can place the same coins in multiple other trades if I want.
Eventually I will be able to trade with any coin I want, to any coin I want.
That is what I consider to be the grand unification of crypto currencies et al.
If I want to I can try to take it apart and use it for what ever I can dream up.
