Here, 225g of pure ethylene glycol is dropped in a mixture of pure NH4NO3 + H2SO4 98% according to the method 1/4/10 (in weight).
After 80minutes, the yields was 460g of EGDN, but I can't remove all the material of the mixture.
83.5% is a good yield without nitric acid, but the decantation is long and not really a good idea in presence of strong acids.
