Gears 5 Claims To Be "Ahead Of The Industry" With No Loot Boxes, Still Falls Short...

Loot Boxes or Surprise Mechanics have been a blight on the gaming industry with every AAA gaming publisher trying to squeeze more and more money out of their players. Gears 5 and Microsoft claims that with :no loot boxes in Gears 5 they will be ahead of the curve.

CD Projekt Red in my opinion is ahead of the curve here by releasing Cyberpunk 2077 without any MTX at all. That's right, zero Micro Transactions in Cyberpunk 2077.
