What is Citizen Journalism?

Welcome to my channel. This channel is about creating a platform to express citizen journalism, proper mindset, applied knowledge, critical thinking, health and fitness, and self-improvement. Above all else, my channel’s main emphasis is on citizen journalism.

Citizen journalism empowers the people as opposed to special interest groups because it allows the common people, the citizens, to form their own perception of reality without having to rely on the fake news media to determine what is real and what is not. It is now common knowledge that most mainstream media are Fake News. Major news outlets are privately owned corporations with their own interests and political agendas. The idea of citizen journalism may seem trivial for the average person, but the truth is that it is as significant as being free or a slave in your own mind. Unless the media is really fair and balanced and free from corporate and biased political views, then citizen journalism is not necessary or relevant.

The truth is that the mainstream media has been co-opted, compromised, and propagandized. Fake News has been proven over and over again to repeat the same headlines and catch phrases (word for word) reading from Teleprompters to spread biased political views and nefarious anti-citizen agendas. National and local TV “programs” became the tool of choice to literally “program” the minds of the people not only to sell products, but also to sell political and biased views. People who question the news have discovered the correlation between faking events to report fake consensus for the solution to “tragedies.” For example, crisis actors have been caught pushing political ideas masqueraded as “news.”

Citizen journalism promotes Critical Thinking. When people actively think about what they hear or see from the fake news media, a whole new world of active participation occurs. For example, people can trust what they hear or see, but the urge to verify the information becomes important them. Logical fallacies are less effective on people who are awake. Due diligence becomes the gate keeper of their minds. Reality is no longer dictated by the fake news media. It is now common knowledge that the fake news media employs the Problem-Reaction-Solution approach to program the masses. The “solution” is their agenda or end-game; the “problem” is manufactured; and the “reaction,” they hope, is provoked from the unsuspecting audience—the people.

Applied knowledge is power. What good is it to read books on how-to’s, do-it-yourself, and/or scientific data if people do not apply the information obtained from what they read? Knowledge is not power or relevant if they are not put into practice. For example, applying knowledge to actual situations, real-world scenarios, and issues and problems is power. Applied knowledge only truly becomes power when we, the people, apply information and do something practical and beneficial not only to ourselves, but also to others.
