Video taken about 11:45am Jan 23, 2021. Police arrest people showing up to peacefully protest at Dundas Square in Toronto. After 39 weeks of peaceful protests against the lockdown measures, police have started to violate people's Charter Rights last week by arresting people assembling for peaceful protest.
Those who managed to avoid getting arrested marched anyway in defiance of the police trying to shut them down (video footage here: https://www.bitchute.com/video/fRcZvmiArNnT/ ). The march was more chaotic and disorganized than before since the marches in the past two weeks have had two police "paddy wagons" and a transit-sized empty police bus following the march to possibly try to arrest all the protesters at some point. The informal leaders of the march (since the old leaders were arrested last week) did their best to march in an unpredictable route in order to prevent police from being able to predict where they were going to stop them.
