In the Apostate churches the way of salvation is reduced to a formula and becomes inert. This so-called salvation does not save. It makes people think they are saved and inoculates them to the Gospel Jesus preached and the Salvation taught by the Apostles. Here we are recovering understanding of this great Salvation. In Acts 2 Peter preaches to the crowds of god-fearing Jews gathered at Pentecost. They are pricked in their hearts and ask "What will we do!" They are terrified of God's wrath against them for killing His Son, the Messiah. Peter tells them what they must do to be saved from God's wrath. Peter answered the questions "What must I do to be saved?" and "How can I be saved?"
