THE APOLLO DISCUSSIONS "SPACE SUITS\ SIMULATORS\ PLASMA ENGINES" PART 19

In this video we introduce Bill Demos. Bill is a graduate from the University Of Leeds with a degree in computer sciences (BSc Honours). Bill now instructs at the university of Patras, where he was a research assistant at the semiconductor lab at the Electrical and Electronic engineering department. Bill is going to be giving us all a lesson on how vacuum works in the real world, and why the Apollo space suits and film could not have functioned beyond the vacuum level of torr 10 -1. This includes the outgassing of any sealed batteries with a vent as did the Apollo LM and Rover. Bill will be conducting film experimentation in his vacuum which can reach levels of torr 10 -6 to -7.

We will be displaying the results of the experiment as soon as it has been completed. Bill will also be conducting experiments on a few samples of material that NASA claimed to have not outgassed while on the supposed lunar surface.
