Polyamory According to the King James Bible
Polyamory According to the King James Bible
On October 27, 2019 CBS News normalized polyamory similarly the way they have normalized boy drag queens on ABC’s Good Morning America.
It's estimated that 4% to 5% of people living in the U.S. are currently participating in what's known as consensual or ethical non-monogamy, a practice in which partners maintain more than one sexual or romantic relationship with each others' knowledge and consent. For comparison, that means non-monogamy is about as prevalent as the number of Americans who identify as LGBTQ, which is estimated to be about 4.5% of the American population.
Let me cut to the chase. This is SIN! Now that society has let the cat out of the bag with Sodomite marriage, now anything goes! But Jesus always believed that marriage was between one man and one woman:
“And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,”
Matthew 19:4 KJV
“But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.”
Mark 10:6 KJV
Jesus quotes Genesis 1:27 KJV:
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
God didn’t create male and male or even male and two females, he created one male and one female for marriage for life. Anything else is outside the perfect will of God.
Let me give you examples of where bigamy or polygamy or any other relationship outside the marriage of a man or woman is sin.
Cain’s Descendants Started Polygamy:
“And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.”
Genesis 4:19 KJV
Never mind the fact that in the New Testament Cain is called that “wicked one:”
“Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.”
1 John 3:12 KJV
Pretty much all of Cain’s offspring were wicked because they were all killed in the flood. Only Seth’s line continued.
Abraham had a woman outside of his marriage:
“And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.”
Genesis 16:4 KJV
What?!?! You mean two women sharing a man can’t get along? Let’s look at Abraham’s grandson Jacob:
“And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years.”
Genesis 29:30 KJV
And throughout the rest of the history of Leah and Rachel there’s competition.
In the book of Judges Gilead had a son by a woman outside of his marriage:
“And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.”
Judges 11:2 KJV
In 1 Samuel a priest had two wives and one wife vexed the other:
“And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.”
1 Samuel 1:6 KJV
Now King David Lost Four Sons Because of His Polyamorous Relationship:
“Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.”
2 Samuel 12:10 KJV
Solomon Had Problems with Multiple Wives:
“For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.”
1 Kings 11:4 KJV
