Concealing Irreverence (Proverbs 28.13-14) [2020]
Proverbs 28.13-14
13
The one superimposing a concealment on his irreverence will not be well along the way. But the one taking control of a reproach from out of himself will be loved.
14
Supremely blessed is a man who is himself crouching down to all, through a good acquisition, but the dry and hard will fall out of flight in the heart into worthlessness.
[The Rooted Word]
Do not conceal your irreverence, nor boast about it. Revere God as exalted above all that exist, as He truly is exalted. And look at yourself for who you truly are in order to find humility. Then it will go well along your way.
When you take control to bring a reproach of yourself out of yourself, then you will be loved with godly, charitable love.
Supremely blessed is that man who crouched himself down with regard to every person, by means of that good acquisition.
Finally, be careful to not become hard and dry, because then you will fall down out of your flight within your heart into worthlessness.
