Hey friends, more than a couple years ago with some metal from the scrap yard, a few five gallon buckets, and a factory built sluice box, I built a DIY high banker combination material concentrator unit for small scale gold mining and recovery of placer gold. The unit has been sitting collecting dust because of non-scientific and prohibitive state and federal regulations designed to discourage, delay, and prevent small scale gold miners from pursuing the gold present in their mineral claims for which the claims are filed. So, recently I decided to get it out and make sure it's ready to go when I need it. This is a short video in which I walk though some of the features of my DIY high banker combo unit and here's to hoping I can use it soon to recover some nice placer gold!
