On Thurs Jan 13th the House of Reps voted to federalize our Elections. They took the H.R. 1 For the People Act bill and the H.R. 4 John R Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act bill and combined in into one bill. How, well they took an old NASA Bill and gutted it. It was called The NASA leasing bill H.R 5746 now called the Freedom to Vote: John R Lewis Act. The wording in the bill allows for a Federal Take Over of the elections.
Enforce Voter ID laws
It will strip states rights to enforce voter ID laws. You will not be required to show a photo ID in order to vote in an election.
Ballet Harvesting
Also in this bill is Ballot Harvesting. 3rd parties can now collect ballets and turn them in. This is a breeding ground for fraud.
Allows Non Citizens to Vote
Citizens are on the Hook to Help Finance Politicians
What can you do about this?
We have to make sure the Chuck Schumer doesn’t get the Senate votes to blow up the filibuster. We have to get on your phones, send emails to your 2 state Senators. Here is the link to find your Senator - https://www.senate.gov/senators/senators-contact.htm
When you call or email your Senators, tell them who you are, give them your phone number/email and tell them what state you reside in. Tell them you want a response from them.
1. Tell your Senators that you want the filibuster to stay in place.
2. Tell your Senator to vote NO on the Freedom to Vote: John R Lewis Act H.R. 5746.
