Can We Blind Ourselves With A Belief

Sometimes we may try to believe something doesn't exist when it keeps showing itself to us. Trying to believe away something just because we do not like it can causes us issues when we finally do manifest it. Things sometimes are not how we want them to be, sometimes the contrast serves a purpose larger than showing us our beliefs, sometimes it is showing us a truth.
